In game Mouse Problem/ pb errors

this is driving me crazy. get alot of lag in game with gaming mouses(wired, usb)

first mouse ..razer death adder
second razer lycho (something)
third g5 logitech

problem happens with every one of them

works fine with old ball mouse and even a cheap logitech(new) usb mouse

it's like the game cant keep up with my movements (move side to side and have to wait for the game to catch up, etc.)

tried everything i can think of and got help from Gas and Killer

tried:
in game sensitivity plus Windows sensitivity
bought more ram
hardware acceleration
overclocked 8800 gts
lowered graphics, textures


PB......Windows XP
get heartbeat errors/communication errors
pb kicks me after 20-30 minutes every time
updated the hell out of it, reinstalled all pb stuff
google searches only tell me to update pb ffs
have a linksys router, but i think i tried w/o it and go same problem

I do know a fix for PB issues, in fact I posted it on the COD4 Central site the other day and it worked for another guy who was having problems.

1. Stop PB running with the task manager. Ctrl Alt Del.

2. Delete the PB file and reboot.

3. Download PB again and install.

4. Reboot again and hopefully that should fix your PB problem.

On the mouse problem, I would suggest updating your mouse drivers. Although it seems to be across the board for you so not sure that would work. Leave it with me for a few days and I will look into it for you mate.

yeah ive already done all the pb stuff. uninstalled reinstalled stopped services etc.

use the cheap mouse its logitech so cant be that cheap tho.

i need extra buttons! im going to try to install the fron t 2 usb ports in my case (not hooked up)
and see if that helps...if it doesnt im getting a new motherboard

extra buttons? left - fire, right - aim? wat more you need shit my mouse seems to have loadsa buttons on i dont use :/
