It's only for a couple of days but at least it's a shot at getting a sneak peek.

Personally I love it, nothing is quite as satisfying as baiting a few mechs into a fist fight with your own before ejecting to safety as the reactor goes critical killing everything in the radius ( my record is 5). However despite all the shenanigans the game brings ( parkour, big robots etc) it does feel like something is missing. There's no single player for example. None. There is a campaign of sorts, but that's just a chain of maps with a narrative that still played 6v6. There is no offline play, no dedicated server and currently no way to vote on maps or create private games ( though the last two are going to be added features in an up coming free patch). You can make a group of up to 6 player to fight vs 6 ransoms as it stands, when private matches are introduced, clan v clan should be possible.
Not sure how hosting is done, I think via a server of some sort as my ping has never been higher than 40 ( average is nearer 30), so lag is never a problem.
Overall it is a good game but it is definitely not going to be for everyone. I highly suggest getting a trial if possible before committing if your not willing to take a gamble.
7/10 Fists of Victory is my public score, personally though it rates 8/10

Hmm so not a fully rounded game is what I am taking from that review. Still 7 fists is still a half decent score tho.

Maybe not fully rounded but very balanced and with the patches it will give more choices that we're used to not to mention whatever content is in the dlc. There's a lot of stuff I didn't bother to mention as you can read about it all in reviews elsewhere.

I played this weekend. Absolutely no lag. It plays better than anything I've ever had and decent graphics. It's feels and looks like COD . same in game chat and basically same controls as COD. It is missing something like Kryp said...no servers to choose from although you can invite friends to join the one you're in. Maps are static (buildings dont blow up or fall). I hope they will add more options . they could have made it a hell of alot better but its a console game. Its fun for sure but may get bored of it fast. BF4 is much better.
