So, being bored and not working today I am pondering the disposition of Brits with their condescending attitude towards Americans. Never in my life have I been conditioned to have any ill feelings towards Brits. In fact, we regard them as intelligent and friendly, and national allies. Until I started gaming and talking to a bunch of Brits did I realize they generally don't feel the same. Really, Americans are stupid? Really? I'm no Einstein but I can hold my own in a scientific or theological conversation. We left England to come over here to this continent to get away from that shithole of oppression goverened by King James. We are from you, we are the ones that got away. Yes, the US is an emperial state that has been hijacked by war mongers, but we the people don't have much say aside from voting ( and we all know that's rigged). Yes, there actually are Yanks here, like me, that aren't brainwashed by prime time television and subliminal messages. There are Yanks here that cherish independence, freedom, and rebellion as much as any Scotsman or Irish. I am just curious; where does the Yank hate come from? Let me scratch our govt., military, assholes in Hollywood. Those are a given. What is it? Do you really think we are any different than you fundamentally? I have a hard time accepting assaults on my intelligence or nationality and keeping my mouth shut. I'm not singling out DS, because I know and respect you guys. well i dont have any problems with america/americans, ive visited over there several times and each time its very pleasent with friendly people ect. The revolutionary war (which in my opinion doesn't count anyway) this was not actually won by America. A declaration of peace between Britain and America was proclaimed, the real problem was that King George (yes another cunt king) insisted on making all military decisions himself. Orders were sent by him to the British Forces in America causing massive delays in communication. Also this small nation was also fighting France and Spain, so no offense but at the time we had much bigger fish to fry and you also had the Dutch help.

In World War 1 America did not join in until 1917 and in World War 2 they only came in in 1942. Not saying your contribution didn't help the cause because it most definitely did! When you jumped in we and the numerous other nations was struggling and you tipped the balance our way. But the reason you didn't get involved earlier was because of your greed, you left it so you could make vast amounts of cash my selling ammunition and equipment.

Also i know the Japs where wrong for attacking Peal Harbor but imo the Atom bomb was just sick and shows USA as the evil they are. Controlled by the Illuminati and only striving to acheve one thing.. "The New World Order".

Now to the question at hand, I assume as you gave the squad a bye ball on this one that it is not the squad that you are taking issue with Bauh mate. Correct me if I am wrong but this is more a general question aimed at the morons that make up the BF3 community, and trust me on this we are fucking full to the brim with morons in the BF3 PC community. Anyone that doubts that fact merely needs to navigate themselves over to the troll site that is the battlelog forums and read for themselves. Admittedly most of them are console graduates and all have a P beside their name but that is a different issue entirely.

The sportsmanship that once existed in PC games, during those early days of 'GGA, NS, well played and nice teabag' are long gone. Now that the console kiddies have graduated up to a decent platform (mostly just to play the fuckin game as intended) they have brought with them their bad attitudes and bad manners.

The bad attitudes and poor sportsmanship show themselves in various ways, either bad team/squad play, haxucations, slander or just plain insults based on a players name or country of origin, which is what I assume you are referring too here. In some ways we should be grateful that DICE never fully implemented VOIP ingame or we would have to be muting these dicks constantly, DICE dropped the ball on that one but also done us a favour IMHO.

Now if your intention was to address an issue within the squad, then I will throw my hands up and state categorically that I give you sometimes more abuse than I should. However at the end of the day you know I love you and it is merely banter, although if there is an issue with anyone else giving you shite well I wont stand for it unless they are a long standing member and we have our own area for dealing with such matters as you are well aware.

In closing let me say that I truly love my American cousins, although admittedly I did have an issue with your people after the first Gulf War (blue on blue) and quite a few felt the wraith of that, but that is water under the bridge now and I have moved on.

As for the atomic bomb, returning to Lee's history lesson, it was the right thing to do IMHO. Japan was a nation of Samuri, a nation of suicide bombers before Muslims had even thought of it so many more lives where saved through that action than would of been lost invading the mainland.

I know its not just US the Cult within the Masons was originally formed in Bavaria but that was a long time ago before the largely Jewish influence came about.. The USA's foundations are deeply rooted to the Illuminati tho you just have to check your Dollar notes to find several related symbol's..

Well if we are now going into tin foil hat territory, I dont really know about the illuminati (apart from they were in that Tomb Raider film and they sound like a bunch of papes) but I do know that the Masons played a key role in the foundation of the USA.

I believe a majority of the founding fathers, as they are referred to over there, were Masons and that Washington (the city) in particular is fucking full of masonic symbols. I recall reading once that Washingtons (the man) right hand man, who designed Washington (the city) was also a French Mason, so that probably explains that. The Masonic played quite a pivotal role in the founding, building and design of the USA during its creation although I have no idea if they still have any part in influencing the current country.

I do believe that certain powers in play still influence the USA to this day, from setting taxes and which country to invade next to whom the next president is but I dont think its the masonic any more. Google Bohemian Grove for some fucked up presidential weird shite, there is sweet fuck all masonic about what goes on there let me tell ya.

I recall reading that the Masons also played a part in the French revolution (either that or they took their lead from it), although whether that was conspiracy or just bollox I have no idea. It was a while ago that I read up on them so my information is probably outdated or just some tin foil hat shite that I read.

As for Palin being a patriot Bauh, I think not matey. The true patriot dons the uniform of his country, fights and puts his life on the line for his country. I know i'm picking up on a single example to answer your wider question. More fundementally, I just find some americans foregin knowledge highly amusing. I worked as a swim instructor at a summer camp in Mass for 3 years, and had several interesting quests such as "whereabouts in London are you from" (a 16yr old thought London was a seperate country to England)...

Don't get me wrong, I like America as a country, and the people are generally great, but as a country you project an arrogrance which is sometimes backed up by absolutely nothing beyond the worlds biggest military budget, and a lack of senstitivity to some of the worlds tougher issues.

Its the inconsistencies that also annoy me. Invaded Iraq for "humanitarian" issues, but then refused to do the same in Libya (you don't import Libyan oil)... not to mention saying nothing when Bahrain cracked down on peaceful democratic protestors with the help of the Saudi military (again oil allies). Ultimately, uncle sam is 100% self-interested - and thats fine - a country is supposed to look after your own. But its the cock n bull stories in between that rankle...

Just my thoughts.

i've never watched the Di Vinci Code might give it a watch if its related.. i was actually given a book a few years back from my mate which delves pretty deep into socialism, secret cults, conspiracy theories, science and religion and the way of the world. When kids in the US are young, the schools teach us that America is the best, and that the only reason why it is the land of the free and the world isnt speaking some foreign language is because of 'Meruca. We are told that we won every war, (they neglect to mention Vietnam). We are never taught that we arent the defenders of the world, or that our shit doesnt stink. I've had the opportunity to chat with some people form other countries about this stuff and its interesting to see their perspective on these issues. For instance, I was chatting with some Germans about the propaganda that was spewed in WWII. Until i was older, i didnt realize anything else went on in the world. I figured everyone was waiting for the US to do something awesome, then react to it. Then I took a world history, and realized i was completely wrong.

So to summarize, as kids we are taught these things, and some people are too stupid to actually do some research on them.

Also the woo is usually spouted by drunk people who are having a good time.

If you do any research on our new Tea Party here, you will get more information on how Palin is an advocate of Conservative values and opposed to the liberal democratic socialists who are eroding our Constitution. How is she seeking political gain, when she's not running for any office?? Lee, most schools here are public schools and the main goal is to indoctrinate the kids into Socialism. They don't teach much geography or about other countries. Maybe in part, because the US is so huge and we're in a world of our own. Fortunately I went to good schools but over here the wealthier the district the better the schools and teachers. The poor schools just try to get them graduated without teaching anything. The poor stay poor because of government subsidizing (welfare). For generations, they have been living off the government tit and my taxes . Why should they want to better themselves when they are getting everything for free and don't have to work? And, they vote for the ones giving them these benefits (Democratic Socialists). The kids will stay dumb as long as those are in power. That's what they want.
