Fecking kids have more or less kyboshed the mic on my Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset. It was brought to my attention the other night where I was talking and all anyone in Vent was getting feedback, which is quite disheartening when I am trying to swear at some cnut in game. You know who you are Fishy and Bullwinkle! Laughing

It has to be a loose wire in my detachable mic (in the mic end, definitely not the jack) from the fecking kids twisting it and playing with it ...... they should be shot but the wife says no.

So I have searched high and low for a replacement mic (its all of fcuking 4 inches, STOP SNIGGERING AT THE BACK) and drawn a blank. So in true quitting style I now throw it to my Bro's to try and help me out.

Can anyone find me somewhere where I can buy a replacement mic for this headset, there is a free cookie in it for whoever accomplishes this task that even Sinbad couldn't fecking finish?

And as a footnote, never have kids people ............ although to be fair some of you bitches shouldn't be allowed to bred for reasons outside of potential mic damage.

Sorry bro, my initial findings dont look good on the replacements front.
It seems creative dont do spare/replacement parts ( at least not for those)

im not 100 percent sure its your mic tbh. sounds more like a driver/back panel issue.

i use a £2 mic i picked up at the pound shop. Go figure. (as such probably not the person to help you!)

Was told last night I was coming through a lot clearer on Vent after I did some jiggling with the mic, kind of confirms it being a loose wire as I suspected.

Guess I will just have to keep my eye out and hope this one holds out in the mean time.
