| Been thinking of getting one of these bad boys as my current keyboard is crapping out. Anyone any thoughts or experiences using one, is it worth the cash or should I keep looking? | |

| I'm currently using a G15 and its fairly decent, the G-keys can come in handy depending on what games your playing and if your left or right handed. One down side is that it only comes with a US keyboard layout so some of the keys are missing/in the wrong position
If your main gaming habbits are FPS types ( and your a righty) then look at the Merc as endorsed by Riggs, my mrs has one and once you get used to it she says its excellent ( if your a lefty look out for the Fang, made by the same pp, Ideazon i think)

am i rambling, and is my post worthless? sorry i'm sick and amped up on coffee and answering support calls. they are driving me mad.

| i ve had like 15 keyboards...i end up smashing them in the heat of battle, i m tryin not to do that anymore, i must remain calm, same with my mouses, i have to use the 1 s with cords cause when u throw them there easier to find. g9 rocks ..i broke 5 z boards, then i gouldn t find them at my retail store so i got the merc, i m very hard on the things this 1 has stood up very well 5 stars from me. i like it cause its very programmable, and it has a full size regular keypad plus the gamming pad, price is good to...made by ideazon, u ll have to google for more info not sure of the url | |

| Had a look at the Merc board after talking to Riggs on X last night, I am suitably impressed with it and trying to make my mind up now. | |

| TBH alot of what the G15 has to offer is just gimmick, it is a decent board but it's better for some games more than others and alot of its features are wasted on FPS games, if i was a righty, i'd veer more for the Merc than the G15 | |

| That is most definitely the direction I am leaning mate. Surely a display like on the G15 is only going to be a distraction in FPS gaming and end up getting you killed. The Merc boards seem to be the way to go, just need to shop about and compare prices and stuff. | |
