was spose to be the best game made and it looks like it might have achived that. it uses heavyly modified unreal engine. theyve stopped developing it tho as 3d realms run outa cash, thers arguments of who will finish it. fingers crossed EA dosent get it lol it will turn into a childs game.

Never actually played any Duke games though I have obviously heard of him. Looks pretty much like nearly every other FPS game built on the Unreal engine mate.

yet it wasnt. prey and doom were built on the unreal engine i believe yet have less detail like when he gets up and brushes himself off or when he slaps that big monster. his movement is very smooth. would of been a heck of a game.

tbh i would have been utterly amazed if this game ever saw the light of day, let alone made a profit, they should have either give up entirely or restart from scratch instead of attempting to give it a total overhaul.
I think realistically the only way ppl will see a new duke game anytime soon is from a 3rd party mod.
on a side note, from a purely pointless information point of view, Prey and Doom ( I'm assuming you mean doom3 and not the original) used the Id made tech4 engine

hmm the engines used in doom3 look just like the unreal engine. Americas army uses the unreal engine. which suprises me. lol

yeah i was looking forward to the UT powered AA3 but as with all new games its buggy as hell so i'm leaving it a few months till they get the bugs out the system, as it stands, for me, the game is fubar, does nothing but lock up
